Biban, the largest start-up, SME, and entrepreneurship conference in Saudi Arabia, is set to return to the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center from March 9 to March 13, 2023. Organized by Monsha'at, the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, this year's event anticipates its largest audience ever, with over 350 speakers and an expected attendance of 105,000 individuals from the Kingdom and abroad. The conference will feature over 300 workshops, benefiting more than 20,000 participants, and will host over 120 government and private enabling entities.

The theme of Biban 2023, "Attract-Connect-Achieve," emphasizes the conference's emphasis on collaboration within the SME ecosystem, aiming to yield tangible outcomes through the exchange of knowledge, skills, and resources. Attendees at Biban 2023 will have a unique opportunity to network, share ideas, and pursue common objectives while gaining valuable insights from distinguished international and local speakers.

Biban will also include several key areas, referred to as "Doors," this year, including the Startup Door, Funding Door, Innovation Door, Growth Door, and more. These specialized areas offer businesses and entrepreneurs the chance to explore strategies for reaching the next level.

Furthermore, Biban 2023 will host the final round of the Entrepreneurship World Cup (EWC), the first and largest competition of its kind, where entrepreneurs from over 200 countries compete for cash prizes exceeding $1 million.

This year's Biban is taking place during an exciting era of growth for Saudi Arabia's SME sector. The comprehensive economic and social reforms outlined in the ambitious Vision 2030 strategy are transforming the nation into a global hub for SMEs, entrepreneurship, and business innovation. Saudi Arabia was ranked first in the "ease of starting a business" category of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor report for 2021/2022, and the transaction value in the Kingdom's FinTech sector alone is projected to double between 2021 and 2025.
