Launched in 2022 by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Saudi Downtown Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund and is guided by the Fund’s strategy to foster social and economic development and create new opportunities for people and businesses in the Kingdom.
Through the development of modern mixed-used downtowns and destinations with diverse local cultures, the Saudi Downtown Company is working to expand the capabilities of the Kingdom’s most promising sectors as part of a push to diversify the economy and drive non-oil GDP growth.

The Company is dedicated to unlocking the full potential of these cities and driving their growth and success.
